ACIDLOTUS for psy trance and HARDWIRE for techno are all-in-one jamming machines. Synths, drums, effects, a pattern sequencer and export, on Mac, Windows and your phone.

A taste of ACIDLOTUS at 145 BPM: kick, rolling bass, hats and percussion. Turn your volume down a little first.

ACIDLOTUS

A psy trance jamming machine. Rolling acid bass, a ping-pong lead, an atmospheric drone and a proper psy kick, with a sequencer that gets you from a loop to a full drop.

The ACIDLOTUS step sequencer with bass, lead, drone, kick, hats, shaker, ride, conga and clap tracks, each with reverb and delay sends, volume, mute and solo.
The sequencer: nine tracks. Pitch, accent and slide on the bass and lead steps, a held drone, plus kick, hats, shaker, ride, congas and clap, with reverb and delay sends, volume, mute and solo on every track.

The sound

  • Acid bass and a ping-pong delay lead, each with their own filter and envelope
  • A psy trance kick you can shape: pitch drop, decay, click and drive
  • An atmospheric drone with a shimmer layer and adjustable white noise
  • Closed and open hats, shaker, ride, congas, and a clap or snare
  • Kick sidechain that ducks the bass, lead and drone
  • Reverb and delay sends on every track, plus a master EQ and limiter

The groove

  • 16-step sequencer with accent and slide, swing and humanize
  • Four pattern slots (intro, verse, drop, break) and a chain mode that plays them in order
  • Record knob movements live and loop them for up to 8 bars
  • Mute and solo on every track

Taking it out

  • Export WAV, MIDI, or a zip of per-track stems
  • MIDI out to your DAW, MIDI keyboard in for the lead, and clock sync both ways
  • Pick your audio output to route the sound into a DAW
  • Save a snapshot of your whole session and come back to it later

HARDWIRE

A banging techno jamming machine. Drums, toms, congas and a drone that ducks to the kick, with reverb and delay on every channel.

The HARDWIRE sequencer and mixer.

The sound

  • Drums with toms, congas and extra percussion channels
  • A drone synth that sidechains to the kick
  • Reverb and delay amounts on every channel
  • A master EQ and limiter
  • Record knob movements live and loop them

Taking it out

Questions

What does it run on?

Mac and Windows computers, and Android phones using Chrome. I've tested the phone version on Android. iPhone and iPad aren't tested yet, and Safari doesn't support MIDI.

Is it a VST or AU plugin?

No, these are standalone apps. To use them with your DAW, send MIDI to it, route the audio through a virtual cable, or drop in the per-track stem WAVs. Each app has a routing guide built in.

Can I release the music I make?

Yes. The music you make is yours to release and sell, and you don't need to credit anyone. You can't resell or share the apps themselves.

Does it need the internet?

You connect once to activate your license key. After that the desktop apps work offline, and so does the phone version once it's installed.

How many devices can I use it on?

Your license covers your own computers and phone, on up to 3 devices at a time. You can move it to a new device by deactivating the old one.

Do you charge in Australian dollars?

Prices are set in US dollars. If you pay with an Australian card, your bank or card provider converts the amount to Australian dollars at its own exchange rate, so the final amount on your statement can differ slightly from a straight conversion. The checkout page shows the price before you pay.

Can I make loops longer than one bar in HARDWIRE?

Yes. Each pattern is one bar, but there are four of them. Turn Chain on and set the dropdown beside it to 1 bar, and HARDWIRE plays pattern A, then B, C and D, and loops. That gives you a 4-bar phrase with a different bar each time. Dup → Next copies the current pattern into the next one so you can vary it.

Who do I contact for help?

Email [contact email] and include your order number if you have one.
