Wattage Labs

Terms and license

Last updated October 2026

These terms cover ACIDLOTUS and HARDWIRE (the "Software"), sold by Wattage Labs ("I", "me"). By buying or using the Software you agree to them.

Your license

When you buy, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on computers and phones you own or control. Your license key is for you only.

Your music

You own the music you make with the Software. You can release it, sell it and use it commercially, and you don't need to credit me.

What you can't do

Buying

Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the seller of record and collects payment and any sales tax or VAT. Prices are in US dollars. Their terms apply to the payment itself. See the refund policy for refunds.

Updates and support

Updates to version 1 of each app are free. A future major version may be sold separately. Support is by email and is provided on a best-effort basis.

Take care of your ears and your files

Audio can be loud. Turn your volume down before you press play. Keep backups of your sessions, exports and snapshots, because I can't recover files saved on your device.

Warranty and liability

The Software is provided as it is. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that can't be excluded, such as that the Software is of acceptable quality. Beyond those rights, and as far as the law allows, my liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the Software, and I'm not liable for lost data, lost profits or indirect losses.

Other software

The desktop apps include open-source software, such as Electron and Chromium, which is used under its own licenses.

Changes and governing law

I may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
